FALL WINTER '25 COUTURE2025

RURAL TRACE I

This collection explores how labor and everyday life interweave in rural contexts; here, work is not a schedule but a lived experience. The garment becomes a material archive of movement, repetition, and endurance. By bringing rural workwear silhouettes to the runway, the collection confronts fashion’s habit of aestheticizing garments while erasing the labor that shapes them. Drawing inspiration from Rei Kawakubo’s body modification approach, the silhouettes display how work physically molds the body. Here, the garment is not a trend; it is memory and a lived presence.

EN 円 II

Developed under the Lee brand, this project draws inspiration from Lee's early workwear overalls. While preserving the brand's original identity, the collection blends durable denim and functional design with fluid lines and circular silhouettes, merging Japanese workwear elements with Lee's authentic industrial heritage.
